Reiki is a Tibetan form of hands on healing which helps to reduce stress and activate the body's own healing capacity by channeling life-force energy (reiki) through the healer to you, the fully clothed client.
The Five Ethical Principles of Reiki
Just for today I will not worry.
Just for today I will not anger.
Just for today I will live the attitude of gratitude.
Just for today I will do my work honestly.
Just for today I will respect every living creature.
We are alive because life-force energy is flowing through our bodies, through our chakras and meridians. It also flows around our bodies throughout our aura. This life-force nourishes our organs and cells to keep us healthy and balanced. When the flow is disrupted it causes imbalance.
Reiki heals by flowing through affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It clears, straightens and heals the pathways allowing the life-force energy to flow in a healthy, natural way.
Reiki is powerful and gentle and affects each person uniquely. It always gets to where it is needed most. Reiki is not a religion, and is not dependent on whether or not you believe it will work!
Reiki supports the body's ability to heal itself; revitalizes body and soul; re-establishes spiritual equilibrium and mental wellbeing; balances thebody's energies; and detoxifies the body of impurities. Reiki will not harm the body in any way - whatever you as a client take will be beneficial.
Reiki can only be channeled by people who have been attuned to it by a Reiki Master, it can be used for self-healing, healing others, plants, animals and the universe. It is very useful as an additional healing energy for people using crystals, aromatherapy, reflexology, shiatsu, etc.
Reiki I
An introduction to Reiki healing techniques, for self, others, animals and plants (11am until 6pm) in groups no bigger than four people. Four attunements are given, and a certificate and manual is included in the price of the course. Reiki I can be used for self-healing, spiritual growth, and healing of friends and family.
Reiki II
During this attunement the use of the Secret Sacred symbols of Reiki is taught (11am until 6pm), again with groups no larger than four people. Absent (or distance), mental and emotional healing techniques, plus the benefit of meditation in healing with Reiki.
A manual and certificate is included with all Reiki courses upon completion.
Reiki Master/Practitioner
Includes the Master attunement, the USUI Master symbol, the Reiki crystal grid, the Antarkana symbol, Psychic surgery, and how to use your increased Reiki Healing energy on yourself and others (11am until 6pm). You will not be taught how to do attunements on this course. If you wish to teach Reiki and give attunements this course must be completed before progressing to Master/Teacher.
Reiki Master/Teacher
Includes 2 further Master symbols (11am until 6pm). You will be taught how to do attunements at all levels. It is possible to do both Master levels over a weekend, or you may wish to leave some time in between them. Reiki Master attunements and courses are run with no more than 2 people to ensure individual attention.
