| About : |
Every great films starts with a great script - the blue print that dictates whether or not the audience will be taken on a satisfying emotional journey. To master the screenwriter's art it is essential to understand story structure and the importance of theme and 'condensed meaning' - the process by which a lot is said with a little.
I have written and sold several screenplays to UK producers including Working Title Television and Kudos Film and Television. I recently completed an adaptation for the screen of Sir Ranulph Fiennes' novel "The Secret Hunters" for Trinamite Productions and am about to shoot a short film 'Mr. Po-Face' in London. My other short 'Le Boast' recently premiered at the World Comedy Film Festival in Toronto and to date has been broadcast 6 times on television.
I am happy to share the knowledge I have acquired during a decade in the UK industry and I can promise a productive, stimulating and entertaining experience. All you need is an imagination and a love of movies.

| I offer a comprehensive introduction to the screenwriter's craft for £200 which covers everything from story structure to pitching. You will need to have some rough ideas for films prepared so that we have something to work on. By the end of the course, assuming you apply yourself, you will have a written package that you can show to producers - including your tag line, treatment, and sample scene. |
